HI THERE, I'M JEN.

Mother, Wife, Cat/Dog/Hamster Mom.

Above all, I'm a proud mom to three incredible humans and a life partner of over two decades. But
I've never been one to follow the script—whether it's in life, work, or even love. Case in point: after 20 years together, we finally had our wedding, our kids were the wedding party.

Taking the path less traveled hasn't always been a straight one, but I don't regret a single turn.

(Oh, and all those pets? It's because I've raised humans who write great persuasive essays.)

Experience That Shapes My Approach.

My path into leadership work wasn’t linear. I started my first business at 19, long before I had language for leadership theory or organizational psychology. What I gained instead was something just as valuable: firsthand experience navigating pressure, uncertainty, and the real weight of responsibility that leaders carry.

Over the years, my work has spanned entrepreneurship, leadership development, and executive coaching. That nontraditional path allows me to see leadership differently. I understand the complexity founders and leaders face because I’ve lived it — making difficult decisions, managing people and expectations, and figuring things out in real time.

Today, that perspective shapes how I work with organizations. I don’t approach leadership as an abstract concept. I help leaders address what’s actually happening inside their teams and cultures, translating insight into practical shifts that improve how people work, communicate, and lead together.

WRITER

Thinking Out Loud.

I write about leadership the way it actually shows up in real life — not just in organizations, but in families, communities, and the systems we’re part of every day.

My perspective is shaped by many roles: leader, parent, entrepreneur, and engaged citizen. The patterns I see in organizations often echo what’s happening everywhere else — in how we handle power, responsibility, accountability, and conflict.

My writing is where I explore those patterns and say the quiet parts out loud. Sometimes it’s about leadership. Sometimes it’s about culture. Often it’s about the human dynamics underneath both.
